Carrie Bradshaw

Last night I went on a date with someone I dated years ago but it didn't pan out. I'll go into detail in a minute. While we were talking I showed him the blog, I know it's new but I'm proud af of my blog. Anyway, he told me I'd be the next Carrie Bradshaw lol. I told my friend about that and she joked the way my dating stories are set up I just might be.

I met Canelo in 2015, I had just given birth to baby #4 and Dave and I had separated (long story). When I met him Gabby had to be like maybe 2 months. I was unemployed and going through so much bullshit with Dave and trying to raise 4 kids, breastfeeding. Lord I was a whole mess. I loved the way our conversations just flowed, how comfortable we were with each other, the fact we wanted the same things and had a lot in common.

We saw each other regularly for a few months and let me tell you that in that entire time we never once fought, argued, I never got mad at him for anything. Which for a woman is pretty hard to not get mad at men for their dumb shit lol. Somehow we just got along. Eventually I took David back and broke my guys heart 💔.

(If you read this, know I'm really really sorry about the way I handled things back then and I've gotten better at communication)

So, we've reconnected and ironically I had decided to give up on dating and focus on me and blah blah blah.....I guess time will tell what happens with this story.
