Can you have companionship without love?

In my humble opinion I don't think it's possible. I think that in order for there to be true companionship there has to be a certain level of love. NOW, I'm not saying that you have to be IN love, but there has to be love. You have to be able to care enough for someone in order to want to stick by them and be their partner. Can you imagine living with someone you hate? Or actually scratch that-- think about all the years you lived with your siblings lol. y'all hated each other but still would look out for one another. make sense? Probably, but i'm no therapist.
