Welcome to the shitshow!

Hey y'all!! Welcome to my crazy life lol. I could say I'm just a boring suburban soccer mom but I am definitely a lot more. My life has been such a rollercoaster, and bitch when I say rollercoaster I mean rollercoaster off the rails type shit. A little background on me- I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx (Boogie down stand up!). My parents are special, the weird kind of special. We'll get into that later on. I lived in the Bronx my whole life, but when I left I was so relieved. I wanted better, for myself, my kids just overall. So we came to live the dream in CT.

I've been in CT about 6 yrs now, love it, have no desire to move back to NY. I love you NY but you're just not for me anymore. By now you've gathered that i'm a mom, i made 4 little humans. They drive me fucking crazy! Love being a mom, couldn't picture my life without them, but sometimes it's very much "fuck them kids". They're 18, 15, 7, and 9. 2 boys and 2 girls. awwwww right?.....nope! Its definitely a lot of work, but totally worth it.

If you haven't noticed yet let me tell you, I have ADD. A conversation with me will entail one main conversation, 2 medium side convos and like 6 different little details i'll remember throughout the whole time we're talking. Sometimes i don't even get to the point of the main conversation because i'll forget! Hence why I've been nicknamed Dory.

Anywho, back to the main convo lol. I decided to create this blog because I love writing, it's my outlet when I have a lot of emotions I can't properly express. Needless to say, at this very moment I have a lot to say. My husband of 15 yrs died suddenly of a heart attack on March 9th, 2021. its been exactly 18 months now that he's been gone. some days are great, others feel like i'm not gonna make it through. I'm very excited to share all my stories with you guys, trust me I have a lot of them. I have a feeling that me sharing some of these stories will piss some people off but you know what, fuck 'em. This is my blog, my life, my story.........Stay tuned!!
