Would it matter?

Imagine your most painful breakup. Are you there? That gut wrenching pain of knowing the person you love doesn't love you back? Or maybe they do but it's just undoubtedly destined to fail. Or perhaps it's you that had to let go in order to protect your own feelings. Regardless of the reason, just imagine how you felt when it happened, because I have a question for you.
Would it actually make you feel better if you knew that they're as miserable as you are? Would knowing that they're in pain too somehow ease yours?
I guess this is one of those topics that are up for debate and I really and truly want to know your opinion!! Please comment below and let me know what you really think about this. Don't worry, it's all anonymous. Nobody will know who you are, not even me. To me you're all identified by a number. Every time someone comes in and reads one of my entries I get a notification but it just says Visitor #667 or #4047 or #1025 or whatever.
I'll share my opinion,
Sometimes I feel like knowing that he would be as miserable as me would make me feel better. I'll explain, if he's miserable as I am or was, then it means he really did love me. I guess it's more of a selfish thing on my part. But the loving part in me, would never want the person that I love to be sad especially not cuz of me.
What can I say? I'm an overachiever in everything. Work, school, love, parenting. Everything I do has to be the best. At least by my standards and we all know nobody is harder on you than you.
Sooooooo, if you're reading this, please leave some comments I wanna get to know the way y'all think.
Love always,
Dory ✨✨
